ARBORO

Backstory on me

Always happiest working with my hands, I grew up working on cars, taking things apart, and assisting on the continual maintenance required on our family's circa 1820 home.

I studied Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia, and 'got out' in 2007.  Some months after marrying my best friend, we headed to Houston for what was planned to be a short stent.  10 years later, our roots have grown, along with our 3 Texas-born kids.  We have now relocated to Charlottesville VA but I have continued my passion for making.

Between our family and day-jobs, Arboro was born out of a love for crafting and the challenge of creating something meaningful and lasting.  I still work on cars, and still perform home maintenance when required - some things never change.  But the opportunity to pursue new challenges, develop original designs, and refine my skill with classic woodworking techniques brings true enjoyment. My hope is that you will enjoy the final product as much as I enjoy the process in creating it.

Thanks for stopping by, and I'd love to hear from you.
